This Friday professor Paul Ehrlich will be leading a conversation on his 1977 book “The Race Bomb”. Paul has kindly agreed to share his motivations to write, perspectives regarding, and possible reactions to his book.

This Friday in lab meeting we will be hearing a presentation from Dr. Ek del Val de Gortari of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Ecosistemas y Sustentabilidad at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.  Dr. del Val’s presentation is titled Plant-herbivore networks in the tropical dry forest of Chamela, understanding patterns and some mechanisms behind the interactions. We will be meeting over Zoom.
